What can I say about this place that hasn't been already said. Service was top notch. Our server was Aubrey and she was extremely attentive. I got the philly cheese steak and was surprisingly good and the potato wedges were perfect as well. Wife got the buffet and was more than satisfied. She said the meatloaf and salad bar were her favs.

We went over to Newport from Gatlinburg on Jan 1 looking for New Year’s Day meal. Had the buffet hog jaw, black eyed peas, collards, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, cornbread, Nice Plate of Salad and upside down pineapple cake. The lady that showed us our table was friendly. Our waitress was nice and had the sweetest country voice. She made us feel like we were a regular customer and it was our first time but will not be our last. I want to thank the Staff for accommodating our group of 44 people. Everyone loves the food and the friendly Hospitality. We were traveling from Columbia SC and headed to Goodlettsville TN.

What I really love about this place is that the food is simple, delicious and ALWAYS so incredibly fresh and hot. The salad bar is pretty exceptional with lots of options, crisp and cold as it all should be. Love coming here for a quick lunch, always full and satisfying. All the workers are always so pleasant too.

Oh boy! Wow, this is so nostalgic for me. The atmosphere is fun. Enjoyable. Family friendly. The bar might seem small but it's PACKING. Tonight has a Thanksgiving vibe. And I'm HERE for it. My son is on the spectrum and he enjoyed it here. And the food (he's a picky eater) HIGHLY recommended.

A true southern gem. If you're not from the south and looking for a no-frills spot with authentic taste and a side of hospitality, look no further. Great service, great food, and even better prices. My husband and I walked out full and happy while spending only $25 (which included a 45% tip). While the $12.99 buffet was tempting, we weren't that hungry, so we ordered from the menu. Their gravy is just right. I could have eaten it like soup! The bacon was perfectly crispy. The home fries were cooked just right. They weren't greasy or left in the fryer too long like most places. And the biscuit was a soft, buttery delight. It's clean, open, and decorated just right. Zero complaints from our visit. Don't pass this unsuspecting spot!

The restaurant was packed with standing room only. It was 87 and no place to wait. People were standing inside of the door to try to keep cool while waiting on a table. After being seated to close, to the 3 tables around us. We headed for the food bar. 3 of the pans were empty and most of the other pans you had to scrape the bottoms of the pan if you wanted something. The food I was able to try was good home cooking.
